Verification summary

The verification process began with a selection of 7 fields for review of land ownership. Fields were chosen by the number of NRTs generated by that field, and in some cases the NRTs generated per acre. Fields accruing the most NRTs for the project and the largest yield of NRTs per acre were chosen for land ownership confirmation. Evidence of the project activity (no-till farming and use of cover crops) was confirmed through an interview and time stamped, georeferenced photos of this year’s crops emerging from the slits created by the no-till planter, NRCS conservation plans for individual fields and a newspaper clipping from the Hometown Girard, announcing the Bankers Conservation Awards for 2021, which included Grow Green Farms for their no-till farming and use of cover crops. Time-stamped, georeferenced photos of the no-till planting equipment, taken on the farm, was also provided.
