Verification summary

While a separate job on the Nori website, the BJohnson M/T fieldwas included in the verification of the fields in the Bruce Johnson project. This particular field was not chosen for desktop audit, because it accounted for less soil organic carbon accumulation on a per acre basis than the other fields being farmed by Bruce Johnson. The fields chosen for desktop audit are clearly under the control of the farmer and his wife, Bruce and Marline Johnson, and they have signed attestations giving rights to carbon credits to the project developer. Interviews with the farmer and a third-party service provider confirmed the project activity - zone tillage - is taking place on these fields. A review of the projects registered with Verra (VCS), Climate Action Reserve and the American Carbon Registry indicated that these fields are not part of the project areas of any registered projects. The project developer has not and does not plan to enter these lands in another project.
