Matt Trudeau
Chief Executive Officer

Matt is CEO at Nori. A serial entrepreneur and financial exchange founder and operator with experience building successful, disruptive technology startups, Matt has been a key member of the teams responsible for launching and operating 12 markets including Instinet CBX equities darkpool (US, Europe, Asia), Chi-X equities ATS/PTS/exchange (Canada, Japan, Australia, Singapore), IEX equities ATS/exchange (US), Tradewind OTC precious metals (Global), and ErisX spot crypto and futures (US) which was acquired by Cboe Global Markets. A named inventor on four issued financial and trading product patents, he has domain expertise in regulated financial markets, market structure, trading technology, electronic marketplaces and exchanges, blockchain and distributed ledger technology, cryptocurrencies, and crypto assets spanning product, strategy, operations, and business development.

Radhika Moolgavkar
VP of Supply & Methodology

Radhika has led the Nori supply team since October 2021. During this time, she has developed deep expertise in carbon removal technologies and methodologies, voluntary carbon market policy and supplier partnerships. She led and continues to manage the multi-year, multi-million dollar partnership with Bayer to develop soil organic carbon removal credits and is also developing partnerships with other carbon removal providers. In addition to her work as VP of Supply & Methodology, Radhika hosts the Carbon Removal Newsroom podcast, which discusses the most interesting business, policy, and technology trends in carbon removal. Before joining Nori, Radhika led the effort to electrify Seattle’s King County Metro bus program where she partnered with local utilities and agencies to upgrade the electrical grid and site battery electric charging stations. Previously, she also worked at Perkins Coie and Microsoft. Radhika completed her JD, BA in History and BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington.

George Mazzella
VP of Sales & Business Development

A three-time founder (with three successful exits) and carbon markets expert, George Mazzella is a proven business builder and leader. His track record includes launching, scaling, and selling numerous technology businesses as well as leading the revenue organizations for some of the world's foremost ClimateTech companies, including Aspiration and Flowcarbon. Over his last several years in climate, George has secured over $300M in carbon project financing and carbon credit purchases, and has launched dozens of climate-positive products that have touched millions of consumers across the globe. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Forensic Psychology & Law from CUNY John Jay.

Alexsandra Guerra
Director of Corporate Development

Alexsandra Guerra’s journey into the forefront of the climate change movement began in Miami, FL, where the tangible threats of sea-level rise instilled in her a sense of urgency to protect her hometown and the planet. This early exposure fueled her passion for carbon removal, leading her to pursue an education in sustainable energy with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UCI and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University. Before embracing her entrepreneurial spirit at Nori, Alexsandra applied her expertise in thermodynamics and smart grid technology at Southern California Edison. Today, as Nori’s co-founder and Director of Sales & Business Development, she is instrumental in forging partnerships and developing strategies for carbon removal credits, driven by a mission to enable global-scale carbon storage. In 2019, she was named one of the 30 Under 30 Worldwide Sustainable Business Leaders by GreenBiz Group. Alexsandra is committed to healing our relationship with our planet, scaling positive impact change, and championing continuous growth, kindness, and grace in her quest for a sustainable future.

Patrick Tsao
Director of Product

Patrick is a technology leader with over a decade of experience scaling marketplace startups from seed stage to IPO. He’s launched industry-defining initiatives at companies such as Uber, Redfin, and Getsafe. A builder at heart, he earned dual degrees in computer science and business from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Ross Kenyon
Director of Creative & Marketing

Ross has led a varied career suited to the label, "creative". His writing has been featured in books and publications, and he is the coeditor of the anthology, Social Class and State Power: Exploring an Alternative Radical Tradition. Ross left a trial run in the world's best-ranked PhD program in political philosophy to write and produce films. He worked on narrative, educational, and documentary content before turning his talents to tech communications. His work has been downloaded or viewed millions of times. As a cofounder of Nori, his seven years in carbon removal can be counted as dogyears.

Katie Söderlind
Chief of Staff

As Nori’s Chief of Staff, Katie Söderlind, SHRM-CP, makes impactful contributions that often unfold behind the scenes. Bringing over two decades of experience to Nori, previous positions include Director of Student Affairs and Manager of Student Services and Administration. Katie's prior roles have equipped her with more than just the usual Business Operations know-how. Her knack for offering sound advice and crafting robust plans to tackle everyday challenges and unexpected hurdles reflects her commitment to bringing empathy and clear thinking to her daily work and leadership style. She has a BA in Anthropology from University of Washington and has several certificates, including Strategic Formulation, Project Management, and FinTech Law and Policy.
